Although Tom insists that Liz was just a job, I wonder if he actually fell for her. He clearly held back during the fight scene.

After the last episode, I started shipping them. When Tom found out that his cover was blown and he took a last look at Liz
"What?" "Nothing. Love you" Those were his last words to her thinking he would never see her again. Aw. I love the potential this ship have, where both of them know what they had was real despite the truth. |

He definitely held back on the fight and he also mentioned the lockbox with the information about Red, which he didn't need to tell her about, so I think he really does care more for her than what he originally planned. |
