The baby being Christopher's kind of ruined the whole plot for me to be honest. I mean he isn't even around so the whole idea was stupid.

The hints were there that it was Christophers, but I don't believe it. I think it was just to throw everyone off. They hadn't even had sex since season 2. I know the timeline moved pretty fast, but that was really stretching it.

Yeah. You do bring up a good point. It was most likely Nicholas' or John Ross' baby.

I really hope it was John Ross'.

Yes, to plan to jump ahead to Elena giving birth was a bit of a blow honestly. I wanted to see Elena work out her feelings about the pregnancy and learn what she was having, etc. Have her worry about who the father of her child is.

I hope it was John Ross too, and this is coming from a JR/PR fan. Although I am also a John ross/Elena fan at heart
