I want Meredith to find out about Owen before Derek.

I don't want Derek/Amelia fighting right now. Derek needs to focus on his relationship with Meredith. There's always something distracting them from dealing with their problems. At the beginning of the season it was Maggie. Now I want them to focus on them, and not have to be distracted by other drama going on around them. They'll need to react to Amelia/Owen eventually but not right now.

Though I do want Meredith to know about Amelia and Owen simply because I don't think she'll make as big of a deal about as Derek might. I mean, we saw Derek punch Mark, but he chose the worst possible time to tell him about him and Lexie.

I wonder if Owen will want Meredith and Derek's 'blessing' though, kind of like Lexie wanted it with Mark. I can't see Amelia caring what they think, but Owen seems like he would. I say that because in episode 18 Amelia has to confront her feelings for Owen, and that could be why.

Usually Mer wouldnt care much i guess but it's her Best friend's ex. When Mer notices Owen is being torn between Teddy and Cristina, she did say something about turning on him. But maybe she wont care.

And anyway, Owen/Amelia situation should be the last thing in her mind.
