It was great, though so brief. Caterina said Amy talked to Meredith about James last episode, but she didn't. So either it was cut or it's next episode. It's probably next episode and Caterina got it mixed up.

PS: A lot of Private Practice fans are complaining about Amelia being called "Amy." Personally, I don't mind it. I usually type Amy when I'm on my phone or iPad because I'm lazy. Plus, Derek has always called her Amy, though she did correct him when they were working, which is totally understandable. She just wants to be respected by her brother and saw as a surgeon. I liked their talk at the end. It's too bad Mer couldn't have had drinks with them too, but she was at the airport with Cristina. Hopefully next episode lives up to all the promotion we've seen. I wonder if Amelia will allow Meredith to call her Amy too, since that's all Mer has ever known Amy as. Last episode was the first time Amy called Meredith "Mer."

From the promos, it looks like Owen and Meredith try to convince Cristina to stay, though the press releases haven't said anything about Meredith and Cristina at all.

I can see the good, funny spark between these two already I'm glad Amy's giving Mer the opportunity and didn't judge (since she came first in S7) despite her friendship with Addison

She's the only Shepherd sister not to have judged Mer so far, really, when you think about it. Nancy was the worst (though the timing was the worst too; I'd be curious to see how Nancy interacted with Mer now, LOL).

I realllllly want them in the OR together. I haven't seen the other promo, but hopefully it's MerAmy.

the timing was honestly terrible.
and i don't think lizzie judged her that much? she was just disappointed that they didn't really interact with the family.

Lizzie didn't really "judge her" per say, but I think it's more she didn't understand Meredith's issues with family.

Lizzie didn't judge her, she was upset they didn't include the family in anything. I LOVED Lizzie and Neve is awesome, hope she'll return again.
