This was definitely the problem. The characters have started healing because a year went by ... but we haven't.

I haven't even bonded with baby Ellis yet. Which is weird because I love Zola and baby Bailey so much. But her birth/introduction happened so fast and under such upsetting circumstances. Plus they barely showed her and didn't even bother to really mention her individually in the season finale. So lame.

So, I hope to bond with baby Ellis in s12 -- this baby Derek wanted so much. I want to see Mer being her mommy.

Same, I mean the birth scene was cute, Mer talking about her to Alex was emotional.. but not a real bond, when it happened so fast, Mer was pregnant and gave birth in the same episode.. and not much focus on that either like finding out etc.. Plus she wasn't with her in epi23 or the finale..

I truly hope they focus on Mama Meredith, especially show the bond between her and baby E. And getting a scene where they are cuddling and she's talking about Derek, maybe to get her to sleep? It would be amazing, even if heartbreaking.

I hope/wish the show will be smart with that...Derek wasnt any character or guest or whatever....after Meredith (well and Cristina) he was the more important character. They cant vanish him like he never happened in Meredith's life because there are three little people who are part of him and a whole story that lasted 10 years...I hope what Zoanne Clack said it's real and they will make justice of the MerDere and as she voiced... "Forget McDreamy? Never".... We'll see though...

So sad. I wish they focus on both surgeon and mommy of three Mer and how they work that out. She's going to be busy on her own with a newborn. It was tough with Derek imagine now... alone...

But they will probably make everything is somehow fine.
