At this point, I think the demotion and him thinking badly about himself again is a pretty big punishment. Losing everything would be just over doing the punishment, in my opinion.

Personally from what I have seen and heard, I think jo and delicate are better suited for each other than Alex and jo. Alex and jo are in such different places and probably will never be in the same place so they should both move on and stay moved on. But maybe that's just me.

Realistically they wouldn't be able to because I don't know how jo could get back with Alex after what happened. Even though Alex didn't mean to take it as far as he did, given Jo's past it would make her seem stupid, like she didn't learn anything from her past, if she got back with him. Sometimes love on its own is not enough. I truly think they aren't right for each other. A relationship based on big secrets that end in violence based on misunderstanding isn't a good relationship, in my opinion.
