I'm slowly recovering. It doesn't help I still have to go to work while I'm sick b/c I have so much going on there.

Too bad you can't take a few sick days. Work while you are sick is the worst.

Well even if I didn't have a lot going on, it's really rough taking sick days as a teacher. The students still come and school goes on without you, because of that I'm required to write plans for a substitute teacher to come in. It takes me about 2 1/2 hours to type up plans (about 4 pages worth since they'll be there for 7 hours) and gathering materials for someone who's never been in my classroom and doesn't know how things work there. I have to describe everything we do and tell the sub where everything is. There is no such thing and being sick and resting - I have to do work to be away from work. :/
