At least she's not a Mary Sue, because that wouldn't be fun! All characters have to be flawed, or they get boring.

Mary Sues are a pet peeve of mine, and a lot of fanfics turn Mer into a Mary Sue. Not cool.

But what do you do?

It's a tough place to be in. Sure, she could hire nannies as has been mentioned many times, but then they're not being raised by their parents.

Just hope it will all work out in the end. If Mer were a Mary Sue, she could do it all - no problem. But she's not a Mary Sue.
