Hoping the Thatcher scenes aren't gut wrenching ...

Same.. but I want some emotional meaty scenes for Ellen.

So I hope Thatcher and Meredith's scenes are given their due importance and lots of screen time. From the promo, it looks very heavy on Catherine, Richard, Jackson, and Maggie. Which is understandable. But we've been worrying about Thatcher's negative affect on Meredith for almost 14 years and it should be BIG in the show if he interacts with him.

I wonder if in this epi one parent makes it Catherine.. and one dies Thatcher.. and how that will affect her. Since they made their stories in the same episode..

That would make a lot of sense. And also be kind of gut-wrenching since Meredith will have all kinds of feelings. But I just want Mer's story to get a lot of screen time.

Okay - so a big change of tone for the next epi. Not sure how I feel about it yet. :/ I do hope they show someone like Alex worry about Mer because of her dad dying.

I really want someone to comfort her because everyone else had a support system in the last epi - she seemed so alone.

she had her amazing kids with her. I think they are her biggest comfort even if they are young.

Kids aren't the same - she's the support system for the kids. She has to be strong in front of them. i miss Mer having a person.
