Wrestling Fan Fic: Read it? Write It? Never seen it?
 

Just wondering, because I'm a avid slash reader & for some reason there was an extremely slashy episode of Raw that made me check around for wrestling slash. (Was thinking about starting a slash thread here, but know know how many ppl would be interested, anybody else interested? Don't want to talk to myself.)

I found some stories at ff.net (along with a generous amount of het fic) and at people's personal sites, some are great, some are pretty horrible. Just wondering if anyone else reads it (or even writes it), if anyone has any author/story/pairing recs, if anyone wants any recs and blah blah blah.

It's the list of a writer named Karen U. She has hundred of fics. If you look int he files section there's a list of all her fic and you can search the archive for it. Her main female leads include mainly Lita and Stephanie, and her main male leads include Jericho, Edge and Christian. She has tons of fics with other pairings.

But yeah, I started with Randy/Batista and basically anything with Chris Jericho in it. Jericho is usually depicted as a whore or emotionally unstable & Jeff Hardy is usually depicted as ****ty or insane, but I like them enough that I'll look past that and I have found some good stories even if the guys are portrayed in a negative light. Batista is good because he always has his hands all over everyone onscreen. I tried to write a Triple H/Batista fic based on one of those touchy moments, but couldn't really get it off the ground.

As far as het goes, I've never really read any. I think I could go for some Kurt/Steph or the Matt/Lita/Kane triangle. Femslash--maybe Trish/Lita.

Thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead. Has anyone read any new or interesting pairings in fic lately?

I used to write WWE fanfics all the time but mostly I just stick to writing Jeff/Trish ones.

Hope that someone is interested cuz the stories are pretty entertaining (at least the ones I actually read, I can't vouch for them all).

I have a bunch of stories, I think the current count is like 29 or something, a lot of them still in progress. They're mostly Jericho/Stephanie though, with other couples sprinkled in, like Christian/Trish, Randy/Victoria, HHH/Stacy, Matt/Lita...

I also have a couple of Randy/Trish fics with Lita/Christian in them.

Obvious . Stephanie/Jericho Songfic. Takes place the night after Jericho and Stephanie kissed at the king of the ring.

Same story, different sides . When his ex-girlfriend leaves the WWE to raise her baby in Canada, Jeff starts to question some things...like is he the father? A Jeff/Trish story with an ironic twist.

I highly recommend Age's Same Story/Diffeferent Sides fic. I've read it and it's incredibly good. :thumbs_up:

When I finish one of my works in progress I'll tell ya, I just put that fic on hold to go back and do chapter two of a Stephanie/Jericho fic I wrote years ago. :lol:

I've just started an Trish Stratus fic Archive. Anybody got a good recs? It's also going to be a Trish resource site for writing fics. Does anyone know where I can find good links for either writing Trish or WWE fics in general?
