One night after No Way Out, wild twists and turns abound on the Road to WrestleMania as Raw returns to Bakersfield, Calif., and its regular Monday night time slot.

Will HBK still have Cena's back when the Champ battles Orton?

John Cena and Shawn Michaels were true to their word at No Way Out—Cena battled alongside HBK as hard as he will against him when they meet at WrestleMania 23, while The Showstopper had the WWE Champ’s back during their unbelievable victory against World Champion Batista and Undertaker Sunday night. So what’s next for the World Tag Team Champions? Will they remain allies going into Bakersfield tonight, or will their mutual respect for one another begin to crumble under the weight of championship gold? We won't have to wait long to find out, as Cena will be in action tonight when he takes on Randy Orton.

“Bank” qualifiers apply

With WrestleMania 23 looming, it’s time to get a championship contract in place—specifically, inside a briefcase latched over the ring within Detroit’s Ford Field. The first round of “Money in the Bank” Qualifying Matches begins in Bakersfield tonight, with Edge squaring off against ECW’s Rob Van Dam. Since the Rated-R Superstar and the ECW Original were the respective “Bank” winners of the past two WrestleManias, this encounter ensures that one will not earn a bid into the match at the granddaddy of them all. Who will be the first to cash out?

Girls’ Fight Out

As announced last week, Melina meets Mickie James for the Women’s Championship tonight on Raw. The primal-screaming Diva’s first attempt two weeks ago proved unsuccessful, but she may have earned an A-list advantage after scoring a pinfall over the Women’s Champion in last week’s Mixed Tag Team Match. Will Melina’s success carry over from the red carpet to the ring, or can Mickie keep the gold around her waist?

Be sure to watch Raw live this Monday night when it seriously turns up the California heat at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

I'm a little annoyed with Mickie losing to Melina and I'll be super pissed if they run Melina vs. Ashley at WM, but this was another decent to good Raw -- they're pretty much on a roll now, IMO, with their two televised products (as always, ECW doesn't count).

RVD/Edge was a great TV match (Edge clearly gets the best out of Rob these days). Orton/Cena was solid. Flair/Carlito are a good tag team by virtue of Carlito not dogging it when he's around Ric. The action of the women's match was solid at least. The announcement of Mr. Perfect going to the HOF was a very pleasant surprise. Even if I didn't love Jeff losing to Umaga, even that match was decent too for what it was. Only Vince and Khali sucked, but that's standard by now.

They're doing a really awesome job with the Cena/HBK stuff too. Definitely made the right move doing the Batista/Taker turn last night and leaving the slow burn to the Raw title match.

I missed Raw too....at least Melina knows how to wrestle though. And I'm hoping for a Melina vs Mickie match at Wrestlemania.

I thought it was kinda boring.

Melina screwed Mickie - I hated that

Jeff Hardy lost his belt - that was bad.

John Cena and HBK cracked me up durning the interview.

Other that that - nothing good.

You didn't think Edge/RVD was even decent? They actually worked Rob's spots into the framework of the match, gave it time, put in some good transitions and selling, and made both guys look strong.

I really thought it was a good effort for free TV and I'm not an RVD fan by any means these days.

And then they did a backstage segment that teased Melina feuding with the whatever that is Ashley again.

The only thing I liked about RAW was the HBK/Cena segment and the RVD/Edge match.

Didn't like the fact that Jeff dropped the belt to Umaga. Don't know what to think of Melina winning the championship either, I really hope she continues her feud with Mickie or turn Victoria face.

I really liked that Melina beat Mickie. For some reason I just don't like Mickie.

I skipped the RVD/Edge match. I just can't seem to watch any of RVD's matches.

Well, I can't hate. Melina is a decent wrestler. But I want Victoria to get that damn title.

I don't have a problem with Melina being champion, necessarily. She's good enough to hold the belt every now and then.

I have issue with them putting the belt on her just so they can run Ashley and her disgusting lack of talent in the women's title program (probably for WM) against her, making an even further mockery of the women's division than it already is.

(And I don't mean to 'bash' Ashley, but she really sucks at wrestling and should be no where near a ring any time soon, it's so embarrasing when she does. I'm not a dude nor do I swing that way, but I can't even see guys finding her all that hot in comparison to the Marias, Kelly Kellys, Kristals, Brookes, etc. of the WWE to be honest either. She was just the only one willing to take off her clothes this year and that shouldn't get her into a title match; it should give her throw away pillow fights like Candice last year.)

Sable, for all of her issues (of which there were many), was a better worker and more over than Ashley -- who is so un-over that she exposed her boobs at NWO last weekend to the tune of pretty much dead silence. Last year Candice was given a throw away pillow fight and the year before Christy was only given the match against Trish because Lita wasn't going to be able to go and they needed a replacement.

There's no reason for Ashley to be in a wrestling title feud right now (if all of this teasing is really about that) other than someone wanting to humiliate her by having 70,000 Detroit fans turn on her in probably a rather vicious manner.
