| I didn't get the PPV but WWE is saying that HHH really did injure himself. They aren't too sure whether it's his quad or leg, but he's been taken to the local hopsital for an MRI. __________________ Keeper of: Miranda & Steve Brady's relationship. Brady Hobbs. | Here's an update: Pro Wrestling Insider - Pro Wrestling News Inside & Out HHH SUFFERS QUADRICEPS TEAR by Mike Johnson @ 10:35:00 PM on 1/7/2007 Five years to the day of his return from a massive quadriceps injury, HHH suffered another quadriceps tear, although the severity of it is still unknown. HHH is slated to undergo an MRI tonight in Kansas City and will then fly to Birmingham, Alabama tomorrow to be examined by Dr. James Andrews. As noted earlier tonight on PWInsider.com, the injury occurred during a spinebuster being executed on Randy Orton, during which HHH came down knee-first. HHH gutted through the remainder of the match and was then helped to the back by WWE trainers, where he underwent a preliminary examination. __________________ LiveJournal Drew Brees' stats: 3,832 yards, 32 TD's, 10 INT(2 rush TD) New Orleans Saints(13-0): Last game: W @ Atlanta 26-23; Next game: Dec. 19 vs. Dallas LSU Tigers football(9-3): Last game: W vs. Arkansas 33-30(OT); next game: Jan. 1 vs. Penn State(Capital One Bowl) Last edited by BearDogg-X : 01-07-2007 at 09:42 PM. | |||

| Wow, five years ago today he came back from his first quad tear. And now he re-tore it. Irony, you suck. As for storylines, maybe they'll buy TNA and have another "invasion"! (That was sarcasm, if you didn't get it.) __________________ I don't want this moment to ever end Where everything is nothing without you... | |||

| Thats just creepy in its irony. I remember when he tore the left one, he was out forever it seemed. I wonder what they had originally planned for the finish? If he's out for a long period of time and has to rehab, what do you want to bet he returns heel. Goody. I was so sure I was going to come across the headline "Umaga, New WWE Champion" while skimming the results. I thought they were definitely heading in that direction. Phew! Nitro/Hardy sounded pretty good. Glad Hardy retained. Yay! ![]() __________________ I'm caught up in a dream, I'm gonna wish for it all No one's gonna tell me how, no way, this is my dream now av credit | |||

| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think the real one probably involved the announce tables; they used them and I can't see them doing that unless they were set to in the beginning somehow. If I wasn't worried about HHH at the time, I would have been laughing hysterically over how understandably, but still utterly and completely lost both Randy and Edge were before HBK stepped in and took control of the situation. Seriously, at one point Randy was almost randomly swinging and whiffing with a chair, then running around the ring like a chicken with his head cut off... Edit: There was a segment that pushed that the Hardys and MNM are going have some more tag matches once Mercury is ready, which was nice to hear. I like those four's chem together and I had been thinking both Matt and Mercury were destined to resume or start being jobbers. Last edited by -Bianca- : 01-08-2007 at 01:33 AM. | |||

| Damn...it looks painful. Sucks for HHH and not good for WWE since they were pushing DX alot at the moment. Wonder what that mean with current storylines. Either way, hope HHH has a good recovery. ![]() Cena beat Umaga? Cool. Now I hope they move on to another feud. __________________ "I don't think anybody should wear it. | In morbid way this gets WWE out from having to split up DX officially... Which was probably going to happen right after Wrestlemania, if not sooner. I would rather DX just be dissolved this way then they do a cliched post-WM Raw where Triple H turn on SM and "excommunicates him" because they did this exact same storyline 10-years ago. Is it just me, or do you think Triple H should retire? I know he is not that old, but in this business chronological age has nothing to do with your physical health and well-being and the human body can only take so many "big" injuries like this and then it says no more... Like Mick Foley who had to officially retire at 33. | |||

| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It sounds like it's not as bad as his previous quad tear, which is good news. Hopefully the surgery and rehab goes as well as possible, because the WWE needs him and I know he's probably not ready to give it up either. Re: DX. I don't think they were going to end any time soon really nor was it a certainty that H was going to be the one to do turn when the time did come (HBK has to turn heel or tweener at some point in '07 because of Survivor Series, I would think). There was just too much milk left in that cow for the WWE to have been fully ditching it just yet. They've probably got a warehouse full of glowsticks and those actually cool looking new shirts that will now be left unsold... | |||

| Finally got this PPV (Yay!!). Figured I'd write a review on this Nitro versus Jeff Hardy in a steel cage match: It might be because I started watching this at 2am but I thought it was kind of funny when Ntiro was trying to be sexy and dip Melina and then her boobs popped out (the camera only picked up on her straightening it out, sorry for those who wanted to see it l ). Okay match. Wasn't one of my favorite ladder matches of the year, but then again, the year has just started. ![]() Tag-team turmoil: The highlanders vs TWGTT vs Hacksaw jim duggeon/Super Crazy vs Kane & Murdoch vs Cryme Tyme: I liked this match just because it kept going and going and going. I love watching Shelton in action, he is one of my favorite wrestlers in the WWE today. I think he deserves more of a push than he's getting, he's def. underrated. I noticed that about him during 2005's ladder match (wrestlemania). I also like to watch Cryme Tyme for some reason, there just a hot mess. I love it. ![]() Kenny VS Ric Flair: The one thing I found interesting about this match is that they were playng up the differences between these two. Flair was the old veteran, Kenny was the young solo member. Kenny came to the ring in a blue feathered robe with blue tights, Flair came to the ring in a pink feathered robe with pink tights. There was a lot going on...and that was before the match even started. The match, in itself, was kind of interesting, I just knew Flair had it until Kenny low blowed Flair and took it all. BASTARD! Victoria VS. Mickie James: @ The king. "I don't mind her bringing her list, as long as she doesn't bring her flying monkeys." I loved the end of this match just because all the girls stuck together for Mickie, even Lillian.Team RKO VS DX: Like last month's Armageddon (I was waiting to see Joey Mercury get his nose busted open), I was so into waiting for Triple H to hurt his leg that it kind of kept me from the rest of the match, but I tried to get into it as much as I could. It was weird 'cause at one point after Triple H hurt his leg and he was continuing the match, he was in one corner and you could really see Shawn ask him if he was okay. Other than that, really great match. You can tell the guys love what they do and are all about entertaining the fans. Carlito VS Chris Masters: It's really sad to say this but I'm ready to see Torrie Wilson venture out to do something else. It seems that she is the only female on Raw that's just simply eye candy, even Candice Michelle and Maria are getting in matches now and doing one hellauve job, maybe she should take some hints and go the same route as Trish/Candice did and get some help in the ring....but anyway, onto the guys in the ring. This is the future of wrestling right here, Carlito and Chris Masters. Like MVP, Carlito also reminds me of the Rocky and has a lot of star potential. Chris Master, as long as he makes sure to keep his head on straight and not get back on the pills, he has the ability to be something huge as well. Okay match, kind of boring since we've seen these two go at it over and over again, but it was good so we could see what they each can do in the ring. Cena VS Umaga: Note to self: watch Umaga's mouth to see if he has his golds on during the match. He does! Anyway, I don't understand why they want us to believe that Cena can't pick up Umaga because of his size, didn't Cena pick up Viscera once and give him the FU? I swear he did. Anyway, okay match, but I did want to give Cena a tetnus shot at the end and Umaga a tranquilizer.__________________ Keeper of: Miranda & Steve Brady's relationship. Brady Hobbs.
