| Good...I seen it last night and well I can see why it opened at the 6th spot. It's a decent action type of movie that has it's moments, some of them verry funny and Cena did a good job at most. ![]() I have to say though, he looked funny in how he was dressed in some parts of the movie. When you see it, you'll know what I mean. ![]() __________________ "I don't think anybody should wear it. That's a number that he made famous. He's greatness. | |||

| I'm atleast hoping it'll be - for the most part - entertaining and will hold my interest. I'll keep a look out for those "dressed funny" scenes. ![]() __________________ I'm caught up in a dream, I'm gonna wish for it all No one's gonna tell me how, no way, this is my dream now av credit | |||

| ^ ^ have you seen it yet? Cena to 'Eat Fresh' in Subway commerical ![]() Move over John Lovitz, Greg Biffle and the slimmed-down Jared – John Cena is ready to “Eat Fresh” as Subway’s newest television commercial star. This week, the WWE Champion shot his first major commercial for Subway’s upcoming Fresh Toasted Double Meat sandwich at the Codey Arena in West Orange, N.J. The commercial is somewhat of a spinoff of the 1979 “Mean” Joe Greene commercial where the football player is offered a Coca-Cola from a young fan. But this time, the tables are turned, as Cena offers the WWE fan his signed shirt for the Subway sandwich, but it’s a no-go for The Champ. The premise for the commercial is funny and engaging, as The Champ has to beg and negotiate for the giant sandwich, and Cena ends up in a funny situation. The commercial goes a little like this: As Cena runs backstage after a match, he spots a young WWE fan holding a huge Subway sandwich. “Whatcha got there, sport?” Cena asks, carrying his WWE Championship. “A Double Meat sandwich from Subway restaurants,” says the boy, who is played by 8-year-old Jeremy Gumbs of Long Island, N.Y. “I’ll trade ya my shirt for it,” Cena offers. “Nah,” the boy declines. “I’ll sign it,” Cena says, holding up his T-shirt. “Nope,” the boy says. “Is that Fresh Toasted? The Champ loves Fresh Toasted.” Cena says longingly, as he sits next to the boy, who inhales the sandwich’s delicious aroma. “I’ll come to your next birthday party!” Cena tells the boy, as he peers up at Cena with a devilish look. Cut to a funny, rowdy birthday party scene, where five rambunctious boys tackle Cena to the ground as he yells, “What I won’t do for Fresh Toasted. Hey, watch the belt!” “The commercial is cool,” Cena told WWE.com, which was behind-the-scenes throughout the entire seven-hour shoot. “But the kid shuts me down! And then I realize how wonderful the Subway sandwich is and I offer to come to his birthday party.” “The birthday party kids are rambunctious! They had to take it easy on me,” Cena joked. “They were all very professional and they’re all full of vigor and excitement.” The birthday party scene was clearly the highlight of the day, as the young WWE fans got to wrestle with The Champ. Cena told the kids to climb on his back and hold onto his arms. He lifted all five kids up for a few seconds, but they were so excited to tackle him down, they all wound up in a heap of laughter. “Can we get these kids jobs? Can we sign them up?” Cena joked. “These are the knockaround guys – the future WWE Champions, right here.” “We’re the little Spirit Squad,” Jeremy yelled. “Three cheers for the mini-Spirit Squad!” Cena said to the boys, who were still trying to knock him to the ground. Jeremy, who is a big Cena fan, was excited to hold the WWE Championship and see the Spinner in person. “It feels heavy, but good! I love it! I love it!” Jeremy smiled. Jeremy’s mother, Debbie, told WWE.com that Jeremy and his brother, Justin, 11, who was also at the shoot, were so overjoyed to meet The Champ they had no problem waking up for the 6 a.m. call-time for the commercial. Jeremy has been in other commercials and also stars in the upcoming movies Perfect Christmas with Queen Latifah and Somebody Like You with Vanessa Williams, but said working with one of his WWE favorites was a thrill. “I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, John Cena, he’s such a master!’ ” Jeremy said. “And this is his first commercial shooting with me, so I better do this great.” The Subway executives at the shoot were very pleased with the commercial and Cena’s impressive ability to work well with the children. “Today we’re shooting a commercial for Double Meat sandwiches at Subway restaurants,” said Kim Hennig, Director of Brand Management for Subway. “We tried to come up with ideas about ‘big,’ and naturally John Cena came to mind. He’s larger than life.” “He has just a wonderful way about him with kids,” Hennig told WWE.com. “He really seemed to be into working with them and getting to know them.” While Cena makes a great spokesperson for the Double Meat sandwich, it’s no coincidence that Subway chose to partner with WWE for this commercial, which is set to begin airing around Feb. 11, if not sooner in some markets. “Subway restaurants are all across America and have a diverse customer base, and I think WWE does, too,” Hennig explained. “I think it’s a wonderful match.” “John is a champ. To be associated with a winner is the way Subway wanted to go,” Hennig said. “We made a very great decision.” Cena seems to agree with Hennig’s sentiment and is happy he did the Subway commercial. “The experience was great. I’ve done commercial work before, but to be a part of this is cool. It was fun,” Cena said. “Subway was satisfied with how proactive I was. I think it’ll turn out great.” ![]() - wwe.com There some really good pics from the commercial at the site. He looks good. ![]() __________________ "I don't think anybody should wear it. | I'm sure you'll find some Cena haters on this board but obviously not in this appreciation thread. You're not the first one and definitely won't be the last.... And yes for your information I do think Cena is hot....you obviously think the same since you posted it yourself. But first of all, I'm a fan of wrestling and then it's wrestlers....you shouldn't assume things of people you know nothing about. __________________ "I don't think anybody should wear it. ....is he??? well if you say so .....but that doesnt really matter....you still got to understand people still dont recognise him as hot they recognise him as a good wrestler (well most of us) (and he is damn they more better than cena in every way possible)...well you see cena netheir benoit would never even bee in the ring if they there just hot (you understand that even though all you see is how hot they are dont ya??) ..well same goes for me is a guy so to speak...divas wouldent etheir bee (or I like them to bee) in the ring just because their hot...see good example must bee trish stratus who even told on some interview (or something like that) that she dont want to bee just another pretty face , she wants to bee a good wrestler and entertainer (and that is what wrestling is all about) | |||

Actually Benoit and Cena have faced each other in the ring before, in case you might not remember. And just like guys make comments on the Divas looks, I don't see the problem when somebody compliments Cena on his looks; As for Trish, I give props to her for becoming a wrestler and not settling for just being T&A. If only other Divas follow route... __________________ "I don't think anybody should wear it. That's a number that he made famous. He's greatness.

yes trish was a good wrestler not just another pretty face....and there I have to admit we got a problem...even Im a guy and may think a lot of divas are hot they still depend to much that fans gonna like them just cuz they are hot and not showing how good wrestlers they are (they could show how good entertainers they are too, but still wrestling skills comes first)..I think all the divas should fallow trish´s tracks to become good wrestlers and entertainers ![]()

| I personally wish - they would get rid of the divas. Yes, I am a female so, that probably doesnt surprise you that I said that - but..back when WWF started - the women either Wreslted or they were Managers. Now you have this *chicks* that get on TV every monday night on Raw or friday night on SD and show everything that God gave them...and for what? I'm sorry - it's embarrassing. - i know this doesnt belong here...but, I just read up there...about Trish..and I had to comment. __________________ Oh beautiful moon Sing me your song Kris Allen Icon | |||

Not every wrestler can be technically sound in the ring like Benoit is...but that doesn't make other wrestlers lesser because of it. Variety....that's the WWE.... Sarah, I agree. I think WWE should get rid of all the T&A Divas and only hire on actual women wrestlers. I've been looking forward seeing Beth Phoenix back, she looks like she has great potential and is training right now too. I'd love to see her in a feud against Lita, Victoria, or Mickie. ![]() __________________ "I don't think anybody should wear it. That's a number that he made famous. He's greatness.
