I agree, Rita. I've had relationships in the past (4 years and 2 years) and I've just been 'meh' about the whole marriage thing, always thought "I don't need a piece of paper." Now I'm with Luke, all we want to do is get married. The idea of taking his name and being committed to each other through marriage sounds amazing. Now I've experienced love I am under the impression that what's the point of being together if you don't want to get married?
My brother split with his ex of 14 years a few weeks back and they were engaged for 10 years. She told him to propose but then said she had no intention of getting married. To me that don't make sense. |
