Of course! People would understand him more if he had his own movie. I mean they deleted most of the more important scenes in all the movies.

I guess it could work having his origin as a stand alone film, but not too sure what they could show us "new" as we got the story behind why he is who he is in Thor 1.

I'm not even worried about a Loki stand along movie anymore Tom is done with marvel he's been with them for 10 years. Time to move on and do other movies and get into other rolls. I mean would it have been nice yes. I would have been over the moon happy. But the time to do a Loki movie would have been years ago. Besides I don't think Loki is a priority they've made that clear.

Every project he's done outside of Loki has either flopped or no one heard of it though. It might take him a while to get something decent.

Probably but if he wants to be known as anything other then just Loki. He needs to find that role that was meant for him.

I will never understand their decision to kill off Loki.

A small part of me still holds out a little hope we'll see him again.

I love almost all of the Marvel characters but he is such a fan favorite. I don't get their reluctance to use him more. It's strange.

Imo, it all goes back to the fact Loki was just suppose to be an antagonist for Thor and the avengers culminating in the first Avengers movie, and that's it. It wasn't anticipated that Tom would make such a strong impression and garner the fandom that he did, so it caught tptb off guard. Since it wasn't in their plans to have Loki around, they had to scramble for a way to include him more to cash in on the popularity. But when you change show runners/writers/directors for every movie, the next guy won't see it in the same way the last guy did until you get to the point where the lack of creativity in people like the Russo's and their writers really didn't care to bother with the Loki character anymore because they had a whole room full of other characters they had to service. So they only wanted Loki briefly to cement the badness of their current villain and make sure the audience knew that Thanos means business. And studio head Feige was cool with that.

I think Loki will be back but it won’t be adult Loki. kid loki or Agent of Asgard will show up
