He needed some serious therapy before that, but that wasn't an option, so it's hard to say what could've helped him and what, instead, would make him spiral even more.

Because yes we're single but at least there isn't a guy who looks like Tom breaking our hearts and moving to another country to make sure we leave him alone?

I can understand why he was mad as seeing someone throw his life away like that when he saw so many die tragically, but even with the alcohol that peak of cruelty is unforgivable.
