It's been raining a lot here lately with flooding, not by me but in other cities. Much cooler temps too - only in the 60's today. It's OK for awhile but summer can come back anytime.

I was hoping to give the air conditioning a little more rest with these cooler temps but today is so muggy that 70 feels like 80 and it's hard to breathe. So on with the A/C. Ahhh....that's better!

My lilies are in full bloom right now. I wish that they would last all summer but they don't. Lilies are my favorite flower!
 And look at this huge moth on the side of my flower pot. I've never seen one like this.  __________________

This is near my inlaws home about 60 miles from where we live. The chair is a park near the Thornapple River. We stopped to take this pic after a walk along the river path which was beautiful.

Yes it is. There were other places we could have taken some nice pics but we ran out of time. The next time we visit, I'm thinking we'll take some pics by the old stagecoach.

Yes, sometimes those displays are off limits to the public. I'm glad we were able to use this one for our pic.
 Today we're going to finish power washing the back of the house. Fun, right? NO!  At least the temps will be much cooler so we won't be baking our heads at the same time.  Have a great Saturday Maria!  __________________
