Guest cast is TBA.

“Scandal” was created by Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away with Murder”). Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away with Murder”), Mark Fish and Tom Verica are executive producers. “Scandal” is produced by ABC Studios.

“Extinction” was written by Chris Van Dusen and directed by Tony Goldwyn.

I can honestly say that of all the Scandal seasons and all the different episodes, this was without a doubt my least favorite episode. I was totally shocked that Rowan actually killed Frankie Vargas. I was also shocked/not shocked that he coldly murdered the woman he loved. Rowan = monster. Yes, he's all about "protecting" those he loves but how did that work out for him?

I want to see the Gladiators, Mellie, Fitz, Abby, Jake, even Vanessa and Cyrus. Hope we are done with Papa Rowan.

And we still don't know the name of the woman who's helping to pull his strings. I'll just refer to her as she who is more evil than the most evil man in DC.

You're probably right about that Maria.

He's done some pretty awful things. She runs a very close second though.

This episode was so boring, and I wasn't at all surprised about the reveal behind the Frankie killing.
