“The Belt” – Cyrus faces his ultimate challenge but continues to stop at nothing to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Olivia and the gladiators uncover shocking new evidence about the night Frankie was shot, on “Scandal,” airing THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16 (9:01-10:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.

“Scandal” stars Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, Guillermo Diaz as Huck, Darby Stanchfield as Abby Whelan, Katie Lowes as Quinn Perkins, Tony Goldwyn as President Fitzgerald Grant, Jeff Perry as Cyrus Beene, Joshua Malina as David Rosen, Bellamy Young as First Lady Mellie Grant, Scott Foley as Jake Ballard, Portia De Rossi as Elizabeth North, Joe Morton as Rowan Pope and Cornelius Smith Jr. as Marcus Walker.

Guest starring are George Newbern as Charlie, Brian Letscher as Tom, Matthew Del Negro as Michael, Phoebe Neidhardt as Meg, Derek Phillips as Gerald, William Duffy as Ralph, Ryan Cutrona as Roger and Saycon Sengbloh as Angela Webster.

“Scandal” was created by Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away with Murder”). Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away with Murder”), Mark Fish and Tom Verica are executive producers. “Scandal” is produced by ABC Studios.

“The Belt” was written by Paul William Davies and directed by Tom Verica.

This was a tough one to watch, I almost felt sick.

Good episode!! Cyrus's dream/nightmare was creepy! I figured it had to be a dream but as it turns out, that's exactly what happened in the end. Cyrus schemed his way back to the presidency.

Huck has a girlfriend!!

I loved the first scene with Mellie dancing.

I felt sorry for Cyrus!!!

Cyrus didn't deserve that beating. I felt bad for him when that happened too.

I can't believe there's another hiatus!?!?! Didn't we just get off a never ending one??

EDIT: I forgot to mention Fitz berating Abby. Wow! He really went off on her and tbh, she deserved it.

I forgot there was a hiatus I was so ready to watch the episode as I ate lunch tomorrow.

I feel terrible about saying it but I just can't see Abby as powerful. Whenever she plays the powerful card she just kind of seems... pathetic and desperate to me? Like she's trying to be Olivia and there's just one, tbh. I wish she could be her own person and do her job her own way.

I feel like the season started; so, it's a bummer to already have a hiatus.

This episode was good but really really dark. I'm curious who killed him as well since tom and Cyrus are now cleared.

The dream was super creepy but clearly a dream.

My favorite was Huck finding a girl he is interested in. I loved when he asked how to tell if someone is a client or a friend.
