Hmmm I really love that moment in #2... The entire episode is perfection, really. I adore that their mutual love of Francis brings them together.
 But I can agree that #2 is more about their love of Francis rather than their own bond. I'll switch my vote.  #1 - 1 (Camellia) #2 - 2 (Amanda, Keri) __________________

How is 11 spiteful? Catherine saying she misses the way she used to be..then Mary going to comfort Catherine after Henry falls. I don't get it.
2 however, as I said before, is really more about Francis. __________________

I absolutely agree with you that #2 shows the beginning of a turning point in their relationship. That whole episode is a turning point for so many relationships. I just think that is more clearly expressed for Matherine in #3. And like Amanda said, #2 is more about their love for Francis.

OK, I see Catherine's comment as a grudging acknowledgement of the successful power move that Mary made by stating her claim to the British throne, at her Uncle's suggestion. Catherine understands it immediately and comments about how cunning Mary has come before saying that she misses the girl she once was. It also led to Henry deciding to participate in the joust.
