I'm going to go with #14, too. Don't get me wrong, standing up to his father, the King of France, especially when he was MAD, was extremely courageous. I just have more of an emotional connection to the other scenes.

I think I'd vote for #4 if he wasn't wearing the St. Michael's costume, but since he is wearing that costume... I have to think some more.

Also, I loved looking at the OP just now and being reminded that we had a bad accent survivor.

I could understand going for #4. Even if he did it to protect Mary, killing Tomas was not as purely noble as some of his other actions. Let us know what you decide, Rachel.

Yeah, the bad accent survivor was pretty great.

It's hard for me to come up with a reason for voting for any of the remaining choices. I'll vote for #1, but I love this scene. It's just not as significant as the others to me, but I may change later.

#1 was definitely a swoon-worthy moment. I love his integrity and the fact that he wants to be a good, capable man, not just a good king. But, I have to agree that it's not as epic or significant for me as the others.
