I've watched it several times and I just can't make anything out. But Nicole choking on something makes a lot of sense considering that she has a witch out to get her.

Actually, what scared me was the fact she seemed to be winning with all of her schemes working last episode. There is no way the writers will let that continue. Something always happens to leave her in tragedy.

I will just add my agreement - that picture really is terrifying. I could see Catherine being responsible for Charles' death, but indirectly. Like...the witch succeeds in killing Nicole, and Nicole's death upsets Charles so much that he does something stupid/reckless and gets himself killed. PLEASE GOD, I don't want Catherine to carry that guilt with her.
