Now that we've gotten to the season finale, I found this season's SLs in some ways were more rushed than S1 and in other ways, it seemed to drag on forever. I realized that they couldn't rush everything because Francis II didn't reign over France for more than 18 months total. However, in the first half when Narcisse was blackmailing Francis, it seemed interminable when I was watching. Nothing Francis did seemed to make any difference until they caught up to Montgomery and killed him and for a long while Narcisse seem omnipotent and omnipresent. Then the rape happened and everything changed. To me anyway, I thought Reign Logic seemed to take over. While things seemed less oppressive, all the happy couples fell apart and Catherine went from hallucinations from being poisoned by the same bible as Henry to a lovesick teenager who clinged to Narcisse for love and attention. I'm not sure I understand why Mary needed sex with another man to heal from a rape, but apparently once she got that, she dumped him and went back to Francis. Greer was set to lose everything once it was discovered that her husband was partially responsible for the rape but she found a vocation for herself and once again chose a sense of security over Leith. Claude was an interesting addition to the cast though the incest thing with Bash IMO was completely unnecessary. Let's hope that S3 starts to resolve some of the issues left outstanding early but not as early as just the first episode like in S2 where they got rid of not only Pascal but Leith's new lady in quick succession. It would be nice if it was more organic.

I just want to forget about this season
 well except all the wonderful Alan/Megan scenes and the coronation and them introducing Claude. Let's hope S3 will make it possible for us to forget all the nonsense we saw in S2!__________________

I don't know since S2 beginning I hoped that the next episode will be better, I got disappointed and continued hoping maybe it will get better with next episode... now I'm trying to keep calm and believe it can be better when S3 starts...
I can't help it  I'm that kind of person who always hopes it can get better.. even if I'm totally disappointed with the finale episode__________________
