No, they were in the castle and in the promo they're also on the castle so I guess the book will not follow completely the facts of the show.

It's only the 2 first chapters but it looks like the book will be really good

 Oh, i can't wait.. Amazon says I'm getting my book on Oct. 2nd, but I hope it's earlier because I want to read the book before watchign season 2 __________________
