Charles's story is pulled from history so they know exactly what they are doing. French court has been the most interesting story line so far. England is super boring and until Darnley arrived, so was Scotland tbh.

I read that Charles had mental problems, had no idea to what degree. But I still believe that either the actor or the character is unbearable. Him being gone/mental to the extreme takes up too much of the screen time. At least for me. I'd love to see more Catherine/Catherine as regent. For me Lord Dudley and the whole unpredictability of Scotland make it interesting to watch. Much better than Bash chasing supernatural creatures/Gideon. Introducing english throne was a mistake and the last episode made it more than clear. Whole episode about Agatha? Come on.

Charles has taken up far less screentime than any of the other French court stories. Except for the one where he took off, he only has like ine acene an episode. Charlea ia important to history, it only makes awnse ro focus on him. He is the King after all.

I do however agree about the Agatha story line. That seems completely unnecessary, at least as far aa can be seen at the moment. Wngland itself isn't entirely unnecessary? But I do think it should be less of a focus.

Agreed. Spending time on Charles' story makes complete sense. It's pretty important historically.

As for England... It could be less of a focus, but I don't think it's entirely unnecessary. It's interesting to get to know Elizabeth and her perspective. Rachel's perfomance is beginning to make me really sympathize with her. That was probably the purpose of the Agatha storyline - to show the human side of Liz.

I keep forgetting to mention - Who else LOVED that they brought back our awesome theme song, "Scotland" during the opening scene of this episode when Mary and Darnley are racing their horses.

The chemistry between darnley and Mary is really good. I can see why Mary fell so hard for him.

Their chemistry between Will and Ade was fantastic. I really enjoyed watching Mary and Darnley together.
