I've dreaded this episode for so long because I didn't want to see Mary's death and I didn't really think they could give us a Frary ending like this on such short notice.

Best ending ever, I couldn't be happier. If we had to say goodbye to the show, I'm so glad they gave us this ending for Frary.

That Catherine spoiler is INSANE. I can't wait to see what else happens. The only recaps I've seen is the Frary montage.

you shouldn't thank them entirely...from what I hear Catherine has zero closure at all.

I'm just so blown away. They actually exceeded my expectations as far as Frary went. I was expecting one last hug or kiss in the light but they got a whole freaking montage :bawl: :love:. I love that their moments together on Earth were entwined with their moments in the afterlife. So many lovely parallels.

Francis and Mary were the show for me, so when he died that was the best time for me to stop watching. I'm glad that the show acknowledged how important they were and made sure that even in death, they got a happy ending together. Well done, writers. Well done.

We meet Margot, the witch asks Catherine to call her back to court, Nicole dies, Bothwell and Mary are taken prisoner, Darnley dies. Charles does not die.

I can't believe they introduce Margot in the finale!? Goes to show where they were in filming I would guess unless it somehow ties into the final stories.

Wonder if Henri dies too? Since historically he inherits the throne from Charles I'd assume not?

Curious how they work the fast forwarding of time. I read some more spoilers about Mary's son James. That he goes to England to plead with Elizabeth to pardon Mary but when Elizabeth offers to make him her heir he turns on Mary of course.

Any news on Mary's brother James? He's another one that dies historically. Curious if they show it in Reign. Can't wait to watch it!

Mary and Francis running as children up the stairs, then them running after he proposed in 1x08 and then running together in the afterlife.

I think that's what always pulled at my heartstrings with Frary. They've loved each other since they were small children.
