"Sins of the Past" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, SV) (HDTV)

FRANCIS AND MARY REUNITE AS THEY LEARN OF ENGLAND'S PLAN FOR RETRIBUTION — As the castle prepares for the Winter’s Ease Feast, King Antoine (guest star Ben Aldridge) of Navarre reveals to Francis (Toby Regbo) and Mary (Adelaide Kane) England's plan for revenge against France. Bash (Torrance Coombs) learns that an “undead” man has been seen in the village and his efforts to track the man down lead him to a mysterious woman in white. Meanwhile, Catherine (Megan Follows) finds out the cause of her hallucinations. Sean Teale, Celina Sinden, Craig Parker, Rose Williams, Caitlin Stasey, Jonathan Keltz and Anna Popplewell also star. Deborah Chow directed the episode written by Doris Egan and Melody Fox (#213).

I'm not gonna lie, I live in Canada but I never watch live, since the second season started, because the show got so depressing to watch, that I decided to start waiting and reading the spoilers first. I read stuff on Twitter first and then decide whether or not I'm interested in watching the particular episode. Sad I know, but watching live got to be too much. I'm going to see Game of Thrones in IMAX tonight so I won't be able to even check spoilers until I'm at least in the car, assuming I get my phone charged before I leave. :S

I don't know what to say, though I actually kind of liked it. I'm very happy we're free of Narcisse's threats and Catherine's ghosts.
On the other hand, it was mostly setting storylines for the episodes to come, some of which can raise our eyebrows. How old was Bash when he went to war?
As for Frary, I can probably say nothing without upsetting Mary's fans.
And I seriously could not care less about undeads.

Probably 12 or 13. Can't be any later than that and still keep him within a year or two older than Francis. Though, how a scrawny 12 or 13 year old could go to war is a different story, but it was the 16th C and people did go to war earlier to do more menial tasks.

Agree with you. I don't even know what to say but it was not a bad episode though. Some really good Frary moments, Lola and Conde, Narcisse...

In S1 the duke of Guise said that he was 13 years old when he first went to war. So that doesn't surprise me.
