apparently Narcisse will be involved in a romantic triangle with Catherine and the Duke of Guise, starting in 2X14

Narcisse being in a triangle with Catherine and the Duke of Guise. Hos is that making any sense? The writers and their consistency...

He plotted against her son, attempted to use her daughter. I doubt she would do that for someone who was a threat to her family's rule. I'm still a bit optimistic for Lola and Narcisse.

the episode description is weirdly phrased to begin with. But it does say that Catherine finds herself in the middle of a romantic triangle when the Duke of Guise return, which forces Narcisse to commit an hideous act out of desperation...

in his situation, what sort of hideous act can Narcisse possilbly make? Is it because of the Duke's return? Is because he is himself part of that romantic triangle? Will he try to use something that the finds out as leverage to help him out of his situation? Bash's mother is also coming back (starting in this week episode) and I asked myself if she wouldn't be a part of the triangle...there are just so many scenarios.

That's the part I don't understand. He told Francis that he would do as Francis wanted and gave himself up so easily. But Francis did tell him that he would use him until he had no use for him so maybe Narcisse sees that the only way he could manage to stay alive and not killed by Francis after he;s outlived his use is to have some kind of affair with Catherine? If that's the case, it would make sense that his desperation would lead to that but I have no idea what the hideous act could be. It all just seems like his ploy to seduce Claude so that she wouldn't marry Conde. It's almost the same thing again.

Both Narcisse and Lola had 2 minutes screentime and not with each other. Narcisse had a scene with Francis were he helped him/worked with him. Telling him show guilty he feels. Then Lola was at the winter party and th end was ask by Mary for a favor...to be a match for Conde, which she tells him and as he accepts, they link their arms

A match for a dance? Or something else? This episode doesn't seem very interesting.

it seemed to me that Mary is using Lola to push Conde away. I dare anyone to say that Lola ain't a great friend after that.

If Lola did agree to marry Conde, I can understand why she would have done it. But I can't understand why Conde would agree. I'm still hoping to see that scene between Lola and Narcisse that we saw a BTS pic of. Now I'm wondering whether she tells him of her impending union with Conde. Is is too much for me to hope that his act of desperation is in relation to hearing that Lola will wed Conde? I guess it is.

I never said she agreed to marry Conde. She accepted to help her friend to keep him away from her by stepping in. My guess is that the Lola/Narcisse scenes from the BTS pic happen next week. was there a talk about mariage?

There was no talk of marriage but Lola said something along the lines of Mary wanting Lola and Conde to like each other and warm up to each other. Lola told Conde that even if Conde and she don't feel anything towards each other, she will still prevent him from straying near Mary.

On another note, I did like the episode. I'm glad that Henry and the ghost twins are finally gone. I felt so bad for Greer though. Even with no Narcisse and just a little bit of Lola in the episode, I have to say I did enjoy the scene between Conde and Lola. And Lola looked so pretty as did all the girls.

the description for 2X15 says that Mary makes a shocking proposition to Condé, along with a bold move to reclaim her throne. Francis moves closer to Lola after a setback with Mary.
