I guess agree to disagree. [Read some SQ fics and watch some vids and then tell me they wouldn't work...seriously...but that is a conversation for another place]
As for my fic...i have not yet decided how I want to play Basherine. I may make them a thing...maybe not..not sure. This fic should be more canonically correct considering the fact that it is "season 5" so it all depends if I can get it there believably. __________________

Sorry, Amanda. I'm sure that the Swan Queen fics are well done, but for many reasons, I know that nothing would ever get me to change my mind about SQ. Agree to disagree.  I understand what you mean...you probably should keep the fic more canonically correct. But if anyone could incorporate some Basherine moments and make them believable, it's you. Catherine certainly has a lot of options in Season 5.  This clip from the Gemini Awards in 2008 is brilliant. [Click Right]__________________

I thought Outlaw Queen had amazing chemistry, but I never enjoyed the canon storyline after 4A (once they involved Zelena). I enjoy them now in fanon and hope for Regina to find love again with someone new.
I never saw Catcisse as anything other than sexual so I was able to enjoy it simply because they were fun to watch. Cathry - no thank you. I did't like him as anything other than a power hungry, insane king. Basherine never crossed my mind, but in fanfic anything can happen. Agreeing to disagree is a good idea when it comes to ships. If you never thought of Basherine you should read some of my fan fics, you might just fall in love...i've been known to turn people.
I liked outlaw queen at first too. I was all on board...but it really started to get dumb later, like you said. I turned swanqueen quickly after I fell down a tumblr rabbit hole. When I came out the other end I was convinced. I could now write a book on why they belong together. Anyway...  Beware, Sherry. Amanda is an expert at turning people on to Basherine.  I can definitely agree with you about Outlaw Queen not being the same after Zelena got involved later, etc.  But I never gave up hope for them. I'm sure I would enjoy the fan fic more than the canon story. __________________

They just stopped writing for Outlaw Queen after Zelena got pregnant. They turned their attention to writing an eventual reconciliation for Regina and Zelena and pushed Robin out of the story to make it happen. I think it didn't have to be an "either-or" situation, but that is just me. Hades should have turned out to be the baby daddy. I could go on about this a long time though and this isn't the place, so I'll quit there. SwanQueen as more than a friendship isn't my thing, but it's a very popular ship.
 Are these Basherine fan fics on Wattpad? I love the season 5 fic you're writing now. As I said after the first chapter, I can really hear Catherine's voice in your writing. |

Yes they are on both wattpad and fanfiction.net. It's not my favorite, but I have been told my first one "No one has to know" is the best one.

Yes, SO MANY episodes.
I can only commit to trying to watch the ones that Megan is in. If I fall in love with it and want to watch it from the beginning.... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.Quote:
