Well the touch of mystery does make them intriguing . I have nothing against cute but it doesn't make great drama per se

They could go all CW on this storyline. LOL Which means that Julien start somehow with wanting to use Lola and as a black widow but then at the end he'll really fall in love with her and just as you think everything will be alright, his motives are revealed and he has to suffer the consequences of it...making great angsty and drama scenes for him and Lola...and that is The CW for you! LOOOOOOL

I think Julian is broke, but he isn't doing the killing; probably his parents or something stranger. And he will totally fall for Lola.
