I like the whole scene where mary puts catherine in her place.
 Then Catherine says that weak comment"all because you couldn't stand being lonely in your rule as wife, that's the job mary, get used to it." "i have made mistakes but it doesn't change the wrongs you have done." "i did it for my son and for you and for france." "i did this for the good of your realm, here and in scotland." THERE'S LOADS |

I have to admit I didn't like the scene but I like this two quotes

I like this one because I feel like Mary still doesn't get it. In her final scene, she's trying to convince francis they must commit their hearts to each other. But she's already proven she can't do that and that's not even important to their job. Hearts wandering is not why they failed. It was their decision to follow their hearts. They need to promise to be loyal to their countries and their alliance, DESPITE any changing feelings. Because feelings do change, even throughout a marriage, which is a very cyclical relationship. |
