I can agree with that.
 It just took awhile for Mary to fully accept the truth and trust Catherine.^ THAT CATHERINE/FRANCIS SCENE.  So amazing.  Catherine will look after her. __________________

She helped her before she knew it was Mary who let her free. She helped her while she was still a prisoner. She helped her even after learning her son was dying and she was right all along. She helped her even though she threw her into a tiger cage and threatened to have her killed once Charles was king if she were to cross them again.

Thank God they had each other in that moment. I'll never get over it. NEVER.  The beauty of Matherine lessened the pain of losing my Francis... if only a little bit. I'm so grateful for that.__________________

Catherine doesn't blame her. The way Catherine holds Mary's face in her hands and wipes away her tears.  Catherine recognizing Mary's strength.... Like mother like son....   __________________

Almost everyone said as soon as Francis died Catherine would kick her out. 5hey thought she'd be furious and hate her and I always said no. They told me I was crazy...and then this scene.

This is one of my favorite Matherine moments, makes me cry every time.
I'm surprised anyone thought Catherine would actually kick her out. I knew these two would form an everlasting bond in the wake of Francis's death. They've always had it from my perspective but like Mary hinted at before Francis died...it took Mary not being a threat to Catherine's sons for them both to see the true extent of their bond. I am going to miss that so much now that Mary is in Scotland  |
