Well I'm glad you were able to recreate it. That was such a powerful scene. You know I didn't approve of Catherine using John to manipulate Francis the way she did, but I still wish both he and Mary had realized that she was genuinely trying to protect them both. She really was trying to stand by them and support their rule.

I understand that, Amanda. I've definitely lost my fair share of sleep doing fandom things. But I know I'm getting to way too old for that. I can't function if I go too many nights without decent sleep.

^ I loved that moment. Catherine subtly protecting Mary from Elizabeth despite the distance (literally and figuratively) between them at that time.

Matherine had some great moments in 2.09 their after-rape scene was the highlight of the episode imo the best thing in 2.09

Fandom things are my way to unwind and relax at the end of the day.

Aww those moments from 3x01. I love it. Mary did look shocked and saddened until he said Catherine was stricken with guilt. She knows Catherine too well. Mary and Francis putting Catherine in that cage with the tiger. I'll admit, I did find it amusing. I honestly believe they just wanted to scare her and would never have let any real harm come to her.

It wasn't amusing to me to watch Mary and Francis humiliate Catherine like that. I knew they weren't going to hurt her anyway because that's CdM and she had to live but I still was angry at both, especially Mary speaking to Francis about how he should do it because he betrayed him. Mary, who was doing the same in S2 but oh well... it didn't last long lol
