I think instead of more England scenes, they should give half of that screentime to Bash, he deserves so much more prominence. I mean, he has been main cast since the beginning, he was lead, why they keep giving him less than 5 minute scenes is just absurd

Yeah it was like less than 5 minutes, he appears at the beginning of the episode and disappears for the rest of it

That's true, Issi. He had scenes with Charles, Catherine and Mary...and they were all significant and important to the main storyline. That's progress! I loved seeing him guiding and protecting his little brother, and looking out for Catherine.

Also, it does appear like we'll get plenty of Bash in the next episode.

Scenes were short but sweet. I love how the entire family pulled together in this episode. (well, except Claude who was off doing her own thing)

^ I'm actually ok with CLaude doing other things with Leith they can continue this way but they could just make those scenes longer with the whole Family together including Mary

I know this topic has a thread but I feel it should be posted on all threads to make sure no one misses it.

Let me clarify the new schedule. (i tweeted the tv grimm reaper and he confirmed what is written below as possible and likely)


Reign will have it’s winter finale on January 22nd. Then it will go on a hiatus for an (as of yet) unannounced amount of time and return later this season. (likely in the spring)

Basically this means:

November 27th :No new episode for the holiday

December 4th: Last episode before Christmas

January 1, 8 and 15: possible new episodes (most likely just 8 and 15)

January 22nd: Winter finale

(TBA hiatus)


Now while it has not been announced, Crazy Ex- Girlfriend and iZombie only have 18 and 19 episodes respectively. If these run normally, that would put their finale’s in March, leaving two possible empty slots for Reign. It is highly likely that this is when it will air in order to keep it’s finale lined up with other CW shows. If it does not reappear at this time, then most likely we will be waiting until at least June.

So we will return between March and July most likely, unless the CW has completely lost it's mind. More than likely in March because the CW doesn't really like to do summer programming.

Yeah, I like the fact that Claude was off doing her own thing with Leith this episode. But, I do love when we have scenes with the whole family together.

That gif is perfect! It definitely represents us when they give Bash ridiculous storylines with Delphine or decide to ignore him completely.

Oh I was okay with it mostly, although, she wasn't even wearing black. It would have been nice to see her at least a little upset over Francis's passing. She didn't have to be all depressed like Catherine and Mary, but even Charles showed more feeling than her. I mean not wearing black for at least a month (usually longer though) after a loved ones passing back then was considered extremely disrespectful.

Well, at least Claude did ask Leith to take her into the village to visit a peasant's shrine to Francis' memory at the chapel. So, her brother was on her mind. It would have been nice to see her in black or a little more emotional about it, though.

that we don't have to deal with Delphine much longer. At least we know the serial killer storyline is coming to a head in the next episode.
