 Torr will be on The Originals...with an Irish accent. I plan to watch The Originals at some point, but I want to watch The Vampire Diaries first so it will probably be a while before I get to it.

I suppose watching TVD first would be a good idea. I haven't watched every episode of TVD, but I think I've watched enough that I won't be completely lost when it comes to The Originals. I'm not quite sure if I want to watch it all the way through, or just watch the eps that Torrance is in. I'm just not that interested in the show in general, but I suppose one of the characters or ships might suck me in.

I just watched the episode where Mary gets the mysterious message from character whose name I don't remember that was sent by Bash. I'm aware that Torrance isn't in season 4. The whole thing about his spirit guiding the man makes me think Bash is dead. Am I going to find out one way or another or this is one of those things I'm supposed to decide for myself?

On the show, they never really make Bash's fate clear... they only hint at it. If you really want to know, the show runner (Laurie McCarthy) confirmed it in an interview after the finale aired.

Ok, good. I would have posted the interview here, but I was afraid of spoiling things for you. I was kind of shocked when Laurie actually came out and said that. tbh, I don't think they knew exactly what they were going to do with Bash when/if he came back. They hadn't planned that far ahead.
