Any speculation on how we will see this feud between Charles and Henri end? Or if we will see it end?

Well, my prediction is that we will either see Charles die or see Catherine after a time jump in the finale and just have it mentioned that he had died. I don't think the feud will end. Though I am curious if we will get some really dumbed down version of the St. Bart. Massacre first.

Yeah, if they don't have time to show Charles' death, I could definitely see learning about it from Catherine after a time jump. I don't know if they could do The Saint Barthomew's Day Massacre justice, but it would certainly be interesting to see what they would do with that.

I don't think they could do it justice in such a short time either but I have a feeling Charles was never going to make it out of this season alive even if they had been picked up which means if they were going to do it at all it would not have been a last minute add on or anything.

That's true. As long as they put some thought into it and it's not something they just threw in at the last minute, it could be okay.

Then again, I guess they could have pulled a Francis with him and made him last only a few episodes into the next season as well. So I could be way off on that. But I'm sure tgey brought in Henri with tge intent to eventually show him on the throne.

I suppose that's possible, too. But like you said, they had to have brought Henri into show with the plan to eventually show him on the throne. If we do see Charles die, I will be so heartbroken for Catherine - losing another child.

Im actually more worried they won't show it and we just end upnwith a mention after a time jump. 19 years later....oh yeah btw Charles, Claude, Leeza and Hercules all died and here we are. (Not that they will ever mention Hercules's name)

Yes, that would be pretty annoying. I've grown to really care about Charles and Claude, and I want a better ending than that for their stories. I don't know how the show would be able to accomplish that, but... it is what it is.
