I am busy rewatching those two scenes between them
but tbh I have no idea how they feel about each other now? Is she using him? Did she lose hope in them and it is the only way to get him? Was it only sex for him? __________________

^It's hard to say. I think she still has feelings for him. She's basically killing two birds with one stone. She gets to have Henri, and she gets to manipulate Henri.
He was probably impressed by her manipulation |

No doubt about that. He likes playing and he likes winning.

I think that Kenna will be sad that the king is gone because I think that she really did care about him at one point, but at the same time she will be really relieved. His madness was really affecting her because it was causing the king to emotionally and physically abuse her. It's sad that their story ended in such a dark place.

She might be sad, but I think there has to be a lot of relief there, too. He was a threat to her. She was always fearful of her safety around him. Now she doesn't have to worry anymore.

And I think it will have a very positive impact on her marriage since Henry can no longer try to come between her and Bash.

Rewatching episodes 1-7 reminded me that Henry/Kenna did have some sweet moments, before things got out of hand. Granted, the majority of them were probably still not great for Kenna because of the Diane factor, but it was an important learning lesson for her about life and love.

Yes I agree - there relationship did not get abusive until later in the season. Too bad things had to go down hill for them so fast. I do think Kenna definitely learned a lot though

Well, in fairness to Henry, things didn't really get bad until he lost his mind. Before that he was just a typical man in power, having his cake and eating it, too.
