I'm in season 2 with all the Catholic/Protestant tension. I want Frances to slap Narcisse and toss him on his backside. Conde I like as a character but I don't care for the romance between him and Mary at all. She already chose between two great guys.

Ah, Season 2 can be pretty painful.

I don't think Conde was pure evil, but he was weak and selfish. The affair was just disgusting and wrong on so many levels. As much as I love Mary and sympathized with her pain, I'll admit that it took a while for me to forgive her for her selfishness.
