Try watching Season 1 if you can. It's a very different kind of show and it's been doing quite well in the U.S. It has won a host of awards.

Kate has been praised for her portrayal of "Red". If you ever watch it, don't think that Kate looks like Red, she doesn't. She also doesn't have a Russian accent in real life (some people thought that she did). Kate is elegant and refined. Red is a woman who gets involved with the Russian mob and ends up in jail, although they don't tell you exactly what were the charges. She's been in jail the longest. It's an ensemble cast and they are all good, although Piper is the main character because it's really her story. Kate got an Emmy nomination for her performance last year. I'm hoping that she gets one this year too, she deserves it.
