I know! What if someone had walked in on them?! They would have gotten an eye full. I guess the danger makes it that much hotter. For me, the chemistry is definitely there - so much more so than with Mary/Gideon. I wonder if they will actually start a real relationship now?

Oh, for sure. It would have been disastrous for the "Virgin Queen" to be caught in such a compromising position - for so many reasons. Like I said, it was extremely dangerous.

No idea, but I think he's carrying a woman's handbag. So many interesting things to notice in that pic... like the game of Jenga sitting on the mantle. Too funny.

I understand that Gideon is loyal to Elizabeth and must do whatever necessary to keep her safe, but... did he really have to break his promise to Mary? I know he tried to explain that Mary was trying to prevent the coup, but he basically reminded Liz that she will never be safe unless Mary is dead. I hate that he betrayed Mary in that way, after everything they shared.

I assume Elizabeth will ultimately choose Gideon and that will be the reason she will remain unmarried.

I think you might be right.

I was actually really proud of Gideon in this last episode. He negotiated ably with Narcisse and he represented his queen well in France. His advice to Narcisse about moving on from Lola's loss was very moving.

"Allow yourself to love and be loved again, or the bitterness will just destroy you."
