Yeah, I really doubt we will, too. This show has a pattern of introducing story lines and characters and barely mentioning them again. But like you said, there are so many characters to keep track of this season already. She was cute, but I'm just fine not seeing Gideon's daughter again. Perhaps they will mention her, though.

The way the promo was presented...it feels like he is just playing her. I mean I know he cares about her, but I feel like he is using that to his advantage.

^ I have to agree. He has told Elizabeth time and time again that he is loyal to her - that he has only ONE queen and ONE country that he serves. He just wants peace... and he's not above manipulating Mary and her feelings for him to get it. You have to hand it to him... the floating bedroom is pretty romantic. I can't imagine Mary actually saying yes, though. To me, the look on her face in the promo just says, "Aww. That's so sweet." We'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

I like Gideon better when he's far away from Mary. They really just have no chemistry.

^ Same. It's just SUPER awkward. I feel nothing but bored when they are on screen together. Now that Mary's actual husbands are coming into the picture, it's time for this thing with Gideon to end. I appreciate Mary/Gideon as friends, but I really like him so much more when he's not with her. It does seem like he is trying to manipulate Mary, and I'm looking forward to the moment she discovers his plans.

I'm still worried about him. Even though the plan to wed Mary didn't work out, Elizabeth knows his true feelings for Mary. Will Lizzy continue to trust him? How can he remain England's Ambassador to Scotland?
