As painful as it was, both Catherine and Mary were very accepting towards their husband's bastard sons. That took a lot of strength.__________________

No one ever really gave Catherine any credit for not treating Bash like garbage (aside from the occasional verbal jab but no one is perfect)

^ That's so true. Catherine showed Bash a lot of respect - especially after Henry's death. She could have been AWFUL to him, but she wasn't.
^ You're blowing my mind with all of these parallels! I know every other male was probably named Henry at that time, but I love that they both had husbands named Henry - and they both went crazy.__________________
