Narcisse cares only about one person: himself. He may have cared once about his son and heir. He'll never forgive the royals for his son's death. Although in reality it was all Mary's doing. Neither Francis nor Catherine had anything to do with his son's death.

Narcisse is currently like a wounded animal of prey, he may be down but he's still very dangerous. I doubt that he has any real romantic interest in Catherine. He's only getting close to her to regain his former power. I hope that Catherine is not foolish enough to fall in love with him.

I agree with everything you wrote, Bea! He'll never forgive the royals for this and I doubt he will ever be honest in his feelings for someone. He just cares about money and power.
