Just thought I'd share the awesome ONCE party my mom threw for my Birthday today. Not quite as amazing as last year's Reign party....but still pretty epic.

Well, my mom doesn't even know that I watch either show. Part of me wishes I could share that part of my life with her, but I would be a bit embarrassed to reveal my "shipping tendencies"

Does your mom "ship" any couples on Reign or ONCE?

Well as I said...she has no idea about my shipping....lol and as far as know she doesn't really do the shipping thing. Haha.

I don't think my mom does, either.

I just don't know how I would convince my mom to watch my shows or REALLY share them with her without talking to her about which relationships I love and root for. Shipping is so much a part of why I love a show and continue watching it... but that's just me.

I had a pretty wonderful birthday yesterday.

After a fun road trip to KC over the weekend, I got to celebrate at work with lots of decorations and cake. I had dinner with my parents, but we will probably celebrate officially next weekend. Mother's Day and my brother's birthday are coming up soon, so it's just a matter of when we can get together to celebrate everything as a family.

It was a nice day, in spite of some sad news I got yesterday morning. My cousin unexpectedly passed away on Sunday night.

The only good thing is that I will get to see a lot of my extended family at the funeral soon.

Oh, Happy Birthday to Caitlin Stasey! It's her birthday today.
