Who wouldn't feel for Regina right now?
 Her situation is so lonely and heartbreaking. Yet she's still fighting and doing her best to protect and encourage others  e.g., throwing the rest of the cake from Eloise/Gothel in the trash so Rogers/Hook didn't get hurt. She is AMAZING.  __________________

Why is Regina caring for Hook confusing? I loved how she immediately ran to his side and tended to him when he was hurt in the flashback.

Confusing because A: She barely tolerated OG Hook and B: because she barely knows Wish Hook. Nit tbat she shouldn't be mildly worried in general...but rushing to his side like that and sending the others after Alice seemed a little more of a reaction than was nnecessary given tbeir relationship, or lack there of.

It didn't seem out of character to me for who Regina is now. She's been reaching out to people all season. She thought his life was in danger and she might be able to help. I believe she and this version of Hook are friends and allies.

^ I have to agree with that.
 Sure, she has not known this version of Hook for long, but they have a connection. They are part of a team now. With who Regina is now, it makes sense that she would care for him and want to save him. And despite the animosity between her and OG Hook, I believe she grew to really respect him - and respect the love that both Emma and Henry have for him.__________________

I haven't seen last night's ep yet, but I love it. I still need to catch up on the Shannara Chronicles and I'll probably watch some cheesy Christmas movies over the next few weeks.
