Right. If the writing and acting are good quality, a show can usually handle some soap-like plots or situations. It just has to be done well so it doesn't get ridiculous or cheesy. Everwood is one show that did it the right way.

Things have been so crazy that I haven't squeezed in much TV watching in the past couple days. I'm starting to get frustrated.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Everwood tonight with my daughter. She likes the show as well, so we add yet another show to the list of shows we are watching.

I've been trying to get caught up with This is Us, but I'm only a couple episodes in to Season 2. So, I probably won't be able to watch the big episode after the Super Bowl tonight.

Anyone else besides me not watching the Super Bowl? My hubby is watching it, I am listening to the commercials. I'll probably watch the half time show. Mostly looking forward to This Is Us afterwards.

My kids both have the flu, so I probably won't be doing any other TV watching this week. I clean and do laundry and clean and do laundry and clean....you get the idea.

Me!!!!! I have never watched a superbowl or any other football game and I never will.

That's quite a bold statement, Amanda. I get it. I do. But I live in a state where everyone lives and breaths football, and I have two older brothers who played, so I have watched MANY games over the years. I have the Super Bowl on now, but it's mostly just in the background. I watch for the commercials and the halftime show. I thought Justin Timberlake did a good job!

Unfortunately, I can't watch This is Us later because I'm not caught up yet. But I'm working on it.

Sorry about your kids being sick, Sherry! I hope they are both on the mend soon. My nose has been running all day and I'm starting to get worried. I CANNOT BE SICK.

I am about to start a Wynonna Earp marathon soon so I can catch up before season 3 since you know....Megan will be on it and all. OMG I hope it's good. Megan on my screen again yay!

After I finally get caught up on This is Us and Victoria, I'm going to give Wynonna Earp a shot, too. Can't wait to see my queen onscreen again. Let us know what you think of the show, Amanda.

I hope they will. I'm glad they announced it ahead of time because I need time to process it. For me, this is not "just a show". It's been a significant part of my life for 7 years.

I also hope Lana finds another role soon and I really hope it's another drama.
