I know I should be watching The Blacklist, but I just haven't gotten into it. What I've seen looks amazing, though.

Not in the mood for anything heavy right now - especially after watching Toby in TLK. So I'm just going to binge a little more of Famous in Love.

Re the Blacklist
Spoiler:

Never heard of Famous in love.

I am currently binge watching The White Queen so that I can watch the new Wite Princess series that follows it. I had meant to watch it for a long time and never got to it. It's really good.

Oh, The White Queen and The White Queen! I've been wanting to watch those, too. How are you watching the episodes? Just links on the Watch Series website?

Famous in Love is new series on Freeform. It's about a college student in LA who goes to a huge casting call and ends up getting the lead role in a movie series based on a popular YA book series like Twilight or The Hunger Games. She's thrust into the spotlight immediately. Like I said, it's pretty cheesy - there's a love triangle in the movie and other triangles off-screen. Plus, all of the "newbie in backstabbing Hollywood" drama. It's from the producers of Pretty Little Liars. You can binge watch the first 10 episodes on Freeform's website or on demand. It's kinda cute - nothing deep or really intense.

Yes. Watchseries is your friend.

kerbear28 04-23-2017 06:34 PM

It really is. I just started watching Victoria on that site. SO GOOD.

Finished all of the White Queen and the two aired episodes of the White Princess I watched just today.

I have to say, so far at least I am missing the original cast of the Queen (except Lady Margret because she's being played by Michelle Fairley now, so yay...and also I never liked the original actress. And also the new Henry VII, because the old one had this weird hair thing happening that I found it hard to look at haha.) Not only were they better actors in most cases, but it is now a little confusing for the characters that remain the same because now they have new faces and I keep going...oh wait that's that person from the first one...okay, now I get it.

kerbear28 04-23-2017 08:25 PM

Oh, so it's a completely new cast, but with some of the same characters? No doubt that would be confusing.

NotDoneAbusingYou 04-23-2017 08:54 PM

Yes. There is at least 7 main characters that are the same as the first series (and I don't even know how many smaller characters). I think they did it to age them up because time has passed, which would be fine, if it didn't pick up only 3 days after the last series ended. Also, at least two of those characters look not even remotely like the actors that came before. It dosen't help matters that the first series spanned over about 25 or so years and none of the actors were even made to look any older so they just go from looking in their 20's or 30's to looking in their 50's just a few days later. And you know how back then there was about 50 Henrys and 80 Edwards and 40 Georges and 90 Elizabeths and so on. So when they mostly only use first names to address people it makes it even harder to figure out who is who.

White Princess

kerbear28 04-24-2017 07:47 PM

Wow. Everyone seems to be watching that show right now. Guess I need to get on it. Right now I'm working my way through Victoria.

Haha YES. That makes it even worse.

NotDoneAbusingYou 04-24-2017 09:11 PM

Yes. Get on it.

It does however make it a little bit easier to figure out since I binge watched the whole thing and then immediately went into the next. Had there been time in between, I don't think I'd have the foggiest who was who outside of the main 4 or 5 people.

sourburst 04-25-2017 06:08 AM

Victoria is amazing. I'm so obsessed with it, I visited the sets last month

The White Princess is very good too. If you can't remember what happened in The White Queen though, I'd suggest re-watching that or reading up on wiki before you start.

NotDoneAbusingYou 04-25-2017 06:43 AM

I remember what happened. I just watched right before. I was just saying that since the cast is new it sometimes takes a minute to figure out what character they are.

sourburst 04-25-2017 07:35 AM

I was talking to Keri

NotDoneAbusingYou 04-25-2017 02:57 PM

Keri cannot forget what she hasn't seen yet.
