Maybe it will be her to ask Bash to go with Mary? because she can't now that she's regent and he'd know she'll protect her kids

It would be JUST like Catherine to send Bash with Mary to protect her. Or...maybe Lola and Cat's grandchild are going to Scotland, and Bash is going to look after them.

Even if Bash accompanies Mary to Scotland, that doesn't mean he won't return to France before the end of the series. That's the beauty of Bash's character. They can do whatever they want with him. He can end up anywhere.

I'm not just upset because of Basherine though. I'm mad because I can't understand why he would leave his siblings, especially after telling Charles he wanted to be a brother to him like he was to Francis. However, It would be rather touching if Catherine told him to go and protect Mary.

Yes. Because she did IRL. But I do believe Lola will join her eventually. And honestly they should send Greer too. I'm hoping there will be traveling back and fourth at least. Maybe they should send Gideon with her. She has her advisor Lord Cunningham and her brother is also waiting for her in Scotland. She won't be alone.

I would not want Mary to have to go to Scotland alone. I really hope one or two of her ladies make the journey with her - and that she has people she can TRUST waiting for her when she returns. I wouldn't mind if Bash accompanied her, but I wouldn't want him to stay. I would want him to return to France to be with Catherine and his siblings. Traveling back and forth would be ideal. The only thing I don't want is for Gideon to follow her to Scotland. I just don't trust them to keep that relationship platonic. I need it to be OVER. He needs to to go back to England with his daughter.

but Gideon's daughter is headed for France as of the last episode.
