I don't like being out in the rain, but I do like the sound of it against the window. I don't mind it as much in the spring if it's a warm rain.

BUT, I do love the sound of rain beating against the window, and I sleep so well when it's raining. Warm spring rains are the best.

Sounds like it depends mostly on what the writers plan to do with it. Like if it sounds stupid, its out.

It might also depend on how many new shows they pick up and need time slots for.
