Aww their breakfast posts were so cute.

It's so fun that Rachel just celebrated her real birthday and then got to celebrate her TV birthday. I thought Liz's birthday party was kind of cute, with she and Gideon walking around evaluating her suitors.



I know most people hated Elizabeth and Gideon. I don't mind them... though I have no idea how they think their arrangement is going to work. She honestly thinks she can get pregnant with his child, get married quickly and pass the child off as her husband's? I really don't think it will be enough for Gideon.

I wish we could have seen other characters birthdays too. I mean....4 seasons and only 1 birthday? Weird.

Yes! Definitely weird. I know they had lots of different feasts and festivals, but it would have been nice to see more birthdays and traditional holiday celebrations, too. (e.g., a Christmas episode)

There was no 'Christmas' at that time in France. They only had St. Nicholas Day (Dec. 6th) which they did actually show some of in 'Acts of War'

Right, St. Nicholas Day is when they would actually give gifts to the children. Regardless, it would have been nice to have seen a little more of them sharing those traditional celebrations as a family - exchanging presents, etc. And a couple more birthdays would have been nice.
